City of Sydney (CoS) funded a study conducted in conjunction with SCA member Wattblock into Electrical Vehicle charging in residential apartment buildings. The results of the study, including national survey results from over 130 schemes and 20 case study assessments were released in July. Overwhelming, 81% of respondents in CoS supported installing EV charging facilities. New developments are starting to market their buildings as EV ready to attract premium values.

SCA (NSW) is partnering with UNSW’s City Futures into building defects. The aim of the research is to develop findings that will be used to understand the cause of defects, their extent and seek changes to planning and development policy.
